B2 Beauty & Barber is a long-established hair salon serving the Portland, OR community with skill, care, and personal attention. Our story began in 1965, when the salon first opened as Mar-Dons Hair Fashions, founded by Margery and Don Johnson.
In 1972, Ray Henderson became part owner and manager, helping shape the welcoming, people-first environment the salon is known for today.
Pamela Heyer & the Next Chapter
Owner Pamela Heyer began her hair career straight out of beauty school right here at this location. Over the years, she stepped away at times to grow professionally, but always found her way back.
In March 2015, Pamela took over ownership and management of the salon. That transition allowed Ray more freedom to travel and enjoy life while still doing the work he loves. Pamela refreshed the space, updated the name to B2 Beauty & Barber, and thoughtfully expanded the team to better serve the diverse needs of Portland-area clients.

We believe great hair starts with understanding you. Most of our stylists offer a la carte services, giving you the flexibility to choose exactly what you want — and only what you need.
If you’re short on time or prefer simplicity, you can enjoy a fantastic haircut without paying for shampooing or styling you don’t want. All of our stylists are trained in dry cutting and modern cutting techniques, allowing for precision styles that work beautifully in everyday life.
