About Us

B2 Beauty & Barber was formerly Mar-Dons Hair Fashions. It originally opened in 1965, and was owned by Margery & Don Johnson. Ray Henderson became part owner and managed the shop beginning in 1972, and still remains a huge part of the salon.

I (Pamela Heyer) started my career straight out of beauty school at this location. Leaving a few times over the years to spread my wings, found this was truly my home. In March 2015, I was given the opportunity to take over ownership and manage the salon. Giving Ray the ability to have more free time, to play and travel more, while still working. So I changed the name, did a few updates, and hired a few new stylists to cover all the needs of the salons clientele.

Even though our hairdressers work as independents, we all work as a team. This way, you are given the attention you deserve.

Our salon works slightly differently, in a few ways, than a lot of other salons you may have tried. You will not be able to book your appointment online, because our goal is to accommodate you the best we can. A computer is unable to do this. Understanding what you are needing, and any time restrictions you may have, helps us to better serve you.

We are also unique, in that most of our stylists offer a la carte services. This means, if you want a fantastic hair cut, but are unable to find the time or want a lot of fuss with shampooing & styling, you don’t pay for it. Each of our stylists are trained in dry cutting the latest cutting edge designs.

If you come in during the day for some pampering, grab a fresh baked cookie and a cup of delicious local coffee while you wait. Or if it’s after a long day at work, let us treat you to a glass of award winning wine, to help you relax, and let us take care of you.
